The weather is constantly changing here in the Oklahoma City area and it’s already stressful enough planning outfits for a family photo session. Add in a growing baby bump (and hormones!) and it can be overwhelming to think about. Breathe mama, I got you!
Best Outfits for a Maternity Photoshoot
Dress it Up
An easy way to find something flattering for your bump is a dress! Midi or maxi styles tend to be the most popular because you can still move around and feel comfortable. I have a client closet full of maternity gowns which you are welcome to use when you question what to wear to your maternity session. I love to provide for my mama clients and let them feel beautiful– because they are!
Dresses with solid colors or small patterns work best.
Dress it Down
No, you don’t have to wear the flowy gowns for your maternity session. Is casual more your style and vibe?
Pairing some simple staple pieces (that you most likely already have!) makes a maternity photoshoot just as fun and special. Your favorite jeans, white t-shirt, and comfy sports bra will do the trick. And no, your jeans don’t have to button to pull the look together. Take it Off (not really, but hear me out…)
Are clothes just not fitting you the way you want during this pregnancy? Take them off! Okay, not ALL the way off. Leave your skimpies on and let’s have fun with some fabric. I have multiple pieces of fabric that we can fit to your body and let you show off as much or as little as you want for your maternity session style.
