Newborn hospital bag checklist

Baby's Hospital bag must-haves

Trust me, it’s easy to get caught up in all the cute baby gear. But the truth is, your baby doesn’t need much during their hospital stay. For the most part, the hospital will have everything you need for baby. With that being said, here’s a short list of baby’s hospital bag must-haves:

  • Going Home Outfit – Make sure baby can wear in car seat, aka no gowns.
  • Car Seat
  • Blanket/Swaddle
  • A Few Onesies (Newborn & 0-3 Month Sizes) – Typically you don’t know how big the baby will be, so options are good!
  • Pacifier – Only if you opt to use one.
  • Accessories: Socks, Mittens, Hats, and Bows
  • Name Sign
  • Canvas Footprint
